While travelling through Costa Rica, we stayed at this quite elevated hotel that had this wonderful terrace overlooking the jungle. This is the view – made me wonder if anyone ever just goes over to the little island to get away at times.
This is a Toucan in Costa Rica – what you cant ‘see’ in the image is, he’s having a conversation at the moment! Somewhere in the fog is another one that would answer.

Costa Rica at its finest – the water was actually this blue! To get to this little lagoon, you had to simply walk down 500 steps. That’s fine – what is not fine is the way back up, at least not with 90% humidity and 35 degrees Celcius! One couldn’t even go for a swim to cool down…
