Norway’s mountains are quite impressive. I visited the Lofoten Islands to see exactly that – and I was not disappointed. Combined with beautiful sunsets and vibrant colors, everywhere I looked was simply stunning. Look at this image for a moment and take it all in!
These fishing huts are everywhere on the Lofoten Islands in Norway – supposedly they are traditional, though, of course, they gained an upgrade for tourists. In Svolvaer, one of the north-most cities on the Lofoten, you can jump on a speed boat to see the eagles – which is another story, but this is one of the pictures I took on the speed boat! Granted, this particular row or Rorbuers looks a bit static, but trust me when I say others have way more character.
The Lofoten Islands in Norway are something else. It doesn’t matter where you turn, it doesn’t matter where you go – there is one amazing view after another. This one here is from our Rorbu’s kitchen area! I mean, imagine having a coffee and this is the view! Oh, for reference, a Rorbu is a traditional fishing hut – just a little more modern to please the tourists, hehe.
