These fishing huts are everywhere on the Lofoten Islands in Norway – supposedly they are traditional, though, of course, they gained an upgrade for tourists. In Svolvaer, one of the north-most cities on the Lofoten, you can jump on a speed boat to see the eagles – which is another story, but this is one of the pictures I took on the speed boat! Granted, this particular row or Rorbuers looks a bit static, but trust me when I say others have way more character.

The Lofoten Islands in Norway have loads of beaches – this is ‘just one of them’. The problem is that one looks better than the other! As I took the picture, I loved the clouds – but about 10 seconds later we had to hightail it back to the car to escape the hardcore shower! Worth it though!
New Photo: Lofoten Ripples
The Lofoten in Norway have all sorts of little beaches – and with the mountains, you can get an awesome composition in no time! Add some sunset to the equation and you can’t help but marvel at the stunning nature that presents itself behind every turn. Mind the seagulls, they are rude!
New Photo: The Best View
The Lofoten Islands in Norway are something else. It doesn’t matter where you turn, it doesn’t matter where you go – there is one amazing view after another. This one here is from our Rorbu’s kitchen area! I mean, imagine having a coffee and this is the view! Oh, for reference, a Rorbu is a traditional fishing hut – just a little more modern to please the tourists, hehe.
New Photo: Gone Are The Words
I mean … just look at it! There is nature, and then there is NATURE! You are looking at a scene from the Lofoten Islands in Norway – one that was just too stunning. We had to climb from our Rorbu (a traditional fishing hut) onto a little nearby hill for about 10 min. That was enough to be rewarded with stunning views all around. I was rather angry that I cut off that straw ball thingy at the bottom, but the vista still tells you enough. It tells you to pack your bags and book your next flight to the Lofoten Islands!
