I recently published some photos in magazines – and during selection, they asked me why I didn’t have more photos of the jungle in Costa Rica. I tried to explain that I found it very difficult to capture the vastness of the jungle in pictures. This photo here is an exception!

While travelling through Costa Rica, we stayed at this quite elevated hotel that had this wonderful terrace overlooking the jungle. This is the view – made me wonder if anyone ever just goes over to the little island to get away at times.
