This is the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, located in Kandy, Sri Lanka. This Buddhist temple is the goal for thousands of pilgrims because it houses something very special – the left upper canine tooth of Lord Buddha himself.
Here is an inside view of one of Egypts most famous temples – Abu Simbel. I love the way they added the indirect light so you dont have a huge bulb staring you right in the face!
The Karnak Temple in Egypt is, for lack of a better word, humongous. This picture was shot with a 10 mm lens, meaning it’s really wide – but even then I did not manage to get the full pillars here into the frame. But damn, just look at those carvings. Some of the wall paintings …
