Looks like any other squirrel, right? That’s because it is – but it is cute! If you visit certain hotel complexes in Costa Rica, they will hang bananas around the arrival area to attract animal life. You know, gotta put on a show for the tourists. In this case, it worked and attracted this little guy here. He ate a full banana – but stopped every now and again to look at us as we were looking at him.

Just a sleeping croc. The photo was taken from a bridge, aiming the camera directly downward. The details on the back are beautiful, though there’s definitely an aura of danger when you look at those guys.
