As I was travelling through Costa Rica, I got up very early every morning to spend some time trying to capture hummingbirds. Capture them in photos, of course! While walking on a path close to our hotel, I noticed a little spec of colour in a nearby hedge. I got closer and was slightly confused – is this what a wasp nest looks like? Are these wasps? What am I looking at here!? If you know, let me know!
