To get this shot, I had to fly my drone into a canyon in Iceland. I actually just wanted to get a nice picture of the waterfall, but as I was approaching, a friend of mine noticed the three sheep! Initially, they were just scattered around, but as I came closer, they converged at the edge and just all looked towards the waterfall. I don’t know why and neither do I care – I do thank them though!
New Photo: Two Worlds
Is up down? Or down up? This photo here from Norway shows one of the most beautiful reflections I have ever seen. The sky was rather empty, but I felt like in this case simplicity was key! Imagine waking up in the morning and this is your view!
New Photo: The Plop
This dramatic evening scene in Iceland somehow conjured the word ‘plop’ into my mind. I mean, look at that little patch of grass, it’s like it just plopped in there! I cannot even find the words to express how much I have wished for a proper sunset on that evening – and obviously, I didn’t get one!
New Photo: The King
Iceland has as many waterfalls as sheep on the road (meaning loads) – but most of them are rather small or somewhat thin. Don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t make them any less beautiful, but when you get to a really big one, it’s a welcome change.
I don’t remember the name of this one, mostly because Icelandic names are impossible to pronounce, but it’s a very touristic place so if you ever go, you can’t miss it.
New Photo: The Dream
The view everyone wants, the view no one gets hehe. I had to work to get that sky in here, but the result looks exactly how I imagined the perfect night scene on the Lofoten Islands in Norway.
